Non-technical skills

This course is designed for anyone who may have to respond to an emergency.  Often, response teams are trained effectively in the technical aspects of emergency response, but seldom in the non-technical skills.  During this course particular attention is given to the development of learners, specifically with regards to situational awareness, decision making, leadership, and teamwork, and other non-technical skills can be included if required.  Following theoretical input which makes reference to the research carried out by leading experts and academics, learners take part in scenario based training, during which they implement the knowledge gained during the theoretical session.
